Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Under Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, customers who purchase as private individuals, and not in the course of a trade or business, have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason.
This right applies only to goods that remain fully sealed and unopened. Fragrance oils are chemical mixtures supplied in tamper-sealed containers. Once the seal is broken, the goods can no longer be verified for integrity or contamination and are excluded from withdrawal under Article 16(e) of the Directive, on health protection and hygiene grounds.
Purchases made in the course of a trade, business, craft, or profession (VAT registered companies) are not consumer purchases and are therefore outside the statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU. Business purchases are governed by our Terms & Conditions, clause 12.
How to withdraw:
- Notify us within 14 days of delivery. Send an unequivocal statement of your decision to withdraw by email to sales@perfumedom.com. You may use the form below, but you are not required to, any clear written statement quoting your order number is sufficient.
- Return the goods within 14 days of your notice, fully sealed and unopened, to the address below. The cost of return shipping is borne by you. We recommend a tracked service, as the goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.
- Receive your refund. We will refund all payments received, including standard outbound delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of their dispatch, using your original payment method. Goods returned with a broken or missing tamper seal are not eligible for refund.
