White Sandalwood Fragrance Oil contains oxidation-prone materials such as linalool, linalyl acetate, and coumarin, as well as resins like patchouli oil and Gurjun oil. While not as aggressive as aldehydes or cinnamates, these materials are known to darken over time, particularly when exposed to heat or light.
- Discoloration toward warm beige or light amber may occur gradually.
- Suitable for woody or natural-themed products where mild ambering is acceptable.
- May not be ideal for ultra-light bases such as pure white wax or transparent products where color precision is critical.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
