Cotton Musk Fragrance Oil is a delicate powdery scent with a unique earthy character which immediately sets it apart from other musky scents. A soft and buttery-smooth accord of hazelnut and macadamia blends harmoniously with jasmine and cotton at its heart, supported by a strong creamy base of warm vanilla and dry musk.

This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%

*Discoloration Potential: Light
While it lacks vanillin or dark naturals, the formula contains oxidizable esters and alcohols that may gradually yellow in soap, wax, or clear bases.
- Subtle yellowing may occur over time, especially in white soap, candles, or emulsions.
- Suitable for soft pastel or neutral-toned designs where mild deepening won’t affect the visual appeal.
- Avoid in crystal-clear or ultra-bright-white products if total color stability is critical.
Important considerations
We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.
Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.

Very pleasing, luxurious and velvety scent. A favorite among colleagues. However in cold process soap (olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, mango butter, castor oil) caused significant acceleration, ricing and seizing at least with this recipe used at 4% concentration. Seems to be also discoloring to brown like a vanilla scent. So would not recommend for CP soap but I’ll be definately trying this in other products as the scent was great.
