Blonde Lager Fragrance Oil
Blonde Lager Fragrance Oil is a complex woody/fruity fragrance reminiscent of a fizzy cold lager blending together perfectly earthy, fresh and aromatic notes. Refreshing top notes of bergamot, ginger and fig giving way to a dark mix of orris root, grapes and tobacco, followed by an earthy/green base of vetiver, cedarwood and musk.
Updated formula 6/6/2025: Removed the barley at the base and harmonized with grapes at the middle accord.
Scent Profile: Woody/Fruity/Green

Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These percentages are indicative. For specific usage limits, please refer to the Blonde Lager Fragrance Oil IFRA file included in the “Related Documents” tab.
*Discoloration potential: None
The formula relies on stable materials, with only trace levels of discoloration-prone ingredients; any change would be very slow and subtle.
- Very slight yellowing may develop over time, especially under light, heat, or air exposure, but it would be barely visible.
- Perfect for use in transparent soaps, pale waxes, and clear diffusers where color preservation is key.
- Store in cool, dark, and sealed conditions to maintain its light, beer-inspired brightness.
Important considerations
We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.
Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
Scent Perception Disclaimer
While we do our best to accurately describe each fragrance, please note that scent perceptions are subjective and can differ. We cannot be held responsible for any misconceptions regarding the scent description. Always ensure you’re satisfied with the fragrance in a smaller test order before committing to larger volumes.

It actually really does smell like an alcoholic beverage although what beverage exactly is open to interpretation. Some said that it smells like beer, some said champagne. A fun scent that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Didn’t accelerate in CP soap, no discoloration and scent retention is good although it does lose some of its “fizzyness”.

The fragrance is not for everyone, but I liked it. I don’t drink alcohol, but beer flavors are definitely present. It reminds someone of the smell of champagne, but they just didn’t smell much.

It is exactly what it says on the tin. Once you open the bottle, the smell of warm beer hits your nose, and it lingers for a while, even after you close it. I am quite impressed with this scent, and I can’t wait to use it in my blends.

I ordered this fragrance just for fun, but it surprised me. To me it smells like a craft IPA more than a lager, but beer scent is definitely present. It might be quite niche in it’s application. Quality is great.
