Choco Dubai Fragrance Oil
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Moderate projection with strong lingering gourmand saturation
- Texture: Thick, creamy, buttery, and syrupy
- Opening Impression: Melted pistachio cream and warm butter immediately wrapped in sweet confectionery warmth
- Structure: Low-volatility gourmand architecture with minimal fresh lift and a very cohesive drydown
- Character: Nutty, decadent, smooth, and intensely edible
Choco Dubai Fragrance Oil is constructed around a highly saturated gourmand core where ethyl vanillin, vanillin, and ethyl maltol generate a dense fusion of melted chocolate, burnt sugar, and creamy waffle accords with almost no volatile distraction. The high dipropylene glycol content keeps the formula exceptionally smooth and cohesive, allowing the buttery pistachio facets to melt seamlessly into the heavy vanillic body without sharp transitions or excessive sweetness spikes. Its very low VOC profile gives the fragrance a slow-moving atmospheric diffusion that feels rich, warm, and persistent from start to finish. The result is a luxurious chocolate-pistachio gourmand with molten dessert density, creamy nutty warmth, and a soft caramelized finish.

Discoloration potential: Heavy
Choco Dubai Fragrance Oil contains high levels of vanillin, ethyl vanillin, and ethyl maltol, all known to cause strong amber to brown discoloration, especially in soap and exposed candle wax.
- Products will likely shift to amber or brown tones over time, even from a light yellow starting point.
- Best suited for bakery-style or brown-toned applications where discoloration is expected or embraced.
- Not recommended for white, pastel, or transparent bases unless discoloration is intentionally designed.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.
