Cinnamon Fragrance Oil is a warm, soothing and intense true cinnamon scent with woody and balsamic undertones. One of the most instantly recognizable and loveable scents out there. Use it alone to create a typical cinnamon product or in any fruity or woody fragrance oil combination.

Discoloration potential: Heavy
Cinnamon Fragrance Oil has high concentrations of cinnamaldehyde, clove oil, and coumarin which make pronounced discoloration (ambering to brown) very likely, especially in white or clear applications.
- Strong yellowing or browning is expected in soap, wax, or emulsions over time.
- Ideal for spicy, rustic, or warm-toned products where discoloration fits the aesthetic.
- Avoid use in white, pastel, or clear applications unless darkening is intended or visually masked.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in cool, dark, airtight conditions — but discoloration is practically guaranteed due to the composition.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%

For larger quantities, we offer bulk production starting from 5kg per fragrance code, with a 10% discount per kilogram. Customers who need more than 5kgs per scent, can contact us to arrange a proforma invoice. Bulk orders are produced in multipliers of 5 (5kg, 10kg, 15kg, etc.) and lead times vary depending on fragrance and time of the year, usually within the range of 3 to 8 weeks.
