Discoloration potential: Heavy
Crème Patisserie Fragrance Oil has a high concentration of vanillin-type molecules and aldehydic materials known to cause rapid and strong yellowing or browning in various product types.
- Expect pronounced yellow to brown discoloration, particularly in soaps, white candles, and clear bases.
- Ideal for use in already beige, brown, or dessert-colored products (e.g. bakery-themed items).
- Not recommended for products requiring long-term visual brightness or color purity.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.

I was very disappointed in this fragrance. I actually thought that I had forgotten to put the fragrance oil in the wax because it was so faint when cold. When lit, it had hardly any scent throw at all, night after night when I lit the candle. I bought 4 different vanilla fragrances from this site. This was the worst of all of them.
