Even though the carier base of Ginger and Lemongrass is very stable, the significant percentage of oxidation-prone terpenes and aldehydes (especially Citral) suggests visible yellowing over time, especially without antioxidant protection.
- Yellowing is quite likely over several months, especially under air, light, or heat exposure.
- Cold process soaps could shift more visibly (yellow to tan).
- Candles and diffusers should stay visually good for a while but might slowly deepen to a golden tone.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
