Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Medium–high, bright and playful
- Texture: Juicy fruits with smooth sugary warmth
- Opening Impression: Crisp apple, cassis syrup, and ripe pear sweetness
- Structure: Vibrant fruity top melting into creamy vanilla-tonka softness
- Character: Cheerful, addictive and effortlessly comforting
Golden Apple Fragrance Oil focuses on bright juicy fruit realism balanced by smooth gourmand softness. Crisp apple, pear, cassis, and plum notes are heavily supported by trans-Hex-2-enal, Hexanol materials, and Delta-Damascone, giving the fragrance a vivid fresh-cut fruit character with excellent sweetness and lift. Beneath the fruity opening, vanilla, tonka, amber, and soft musks create a creamy polished drydown that keeps the composition comforting without becoming overly sugary. The result is a vibrant fruity fragrance with excellent balance, playful brightness, and a soft addictive warmth.

Discoloration Potential: Light
Although aldehydes and ketones are present in Golden Apple Fragrance Oil, the dominant stable esters help prevent rapid discoloration. Slight yellowing over time is possible but major darkening is unlikely.
- Over time, very slight yellowing may occur, particularly with prolonged exposure to light, heat, or air, but the fragrance will largely remain visually stable.
- Ideal for pale-colored products (e.g., white, light green, pastel tones) where maintaining a fresh, clean appearance is important.
- Recommend storing in airtight, dark, and cool conditions to maintain clarity as long as possible.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to slow oxidation and color shift.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%

How to Read the Suitability Statements

Please Note
Typical-use ranges are general formulation benchmarks, not product-specific recommendations. Suitability is determined by comparing the stated typical-use range with the maximum permitted concentration shown in the current supplier IFRA document.
This guide does not confirm scent performance, base compatibility, stability, device compatibility or complete finished-product compliance. Appropriate testing and all applicable safety, labelling and regulatory requirements remain the responsibility of the finished-product manufacturer.
*Electric diffusers: Up to 100% fragrance may be used only in equipment designed for undiluted fragrance oil. Dilution, carrier and compatibility requirements vary by device. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.

I used this scent for my Christmas candle line. It is a nice sweet subtle scent and also a favorite among our customers.

Excellent apple scent, smells just like in the picture. Not too bright and not too creamy. In cold process soap (olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, mango butter, castor oil) didn’t accelerate trace at around 4% concentration and didn’t discolor.

Interesting apple smell, not very popular for my car air fresheners, i like the fruitness smell, i use it on my car.

Very vibrant smell, loved it and you can also add cinnamon for a nice twist

When looking for an apple scent, you should clearly give this one a try. Had different apple scents, but nothing smelled like fresh, juicy apples like this one. One of my customers favorite. Used in candles with 10%.

It’s nearly what I’d want, but i’m getting a punchy gasoline in the opening. I think it is meant to be a note of apple skin, but comes off a bit too bitter for me. I’ll try blending it with something sweeter and creamy (maybe Vanilla Santal) to see if I can soften it.

Photorealistic apple. This one is not like all the synthetic green apple oils. It is truly like biting into a real juicy crunchy apple.
