Grape Vine Fragance Oil
Grape Vine Fragrance Oil is a green, woody composition that captures the atmosphere of a vineyard in harvest time. A gentle citrus opening leads into a leafy, slightly tart heart where grape skins, fig leaves, and soft florals evoke the feeling of walking among sunlit vines. The scent unfolds with an earthy elegance, moving away from sweetness and into a more natural, grounded character as it settles into a refined base of cedarwood, sandalwood, and vetiver.
- Top notes: Citrus mix, fig leaves
- Heart notes: Grape, cranberry, honeysuckle
- Base notes: Vetiver, cedarwood, sandalwood
Scent Profile: Woody/Green/Fruity
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Medium–high, steady and diffusive
- Texture: Dry, slightly green with a smooth woody-musky body
- Freshness type: Green-aromatic with subtle fruity brightness
- Structure: Well-balanced with a strong base and integrated top
- Character: Natural, leafy, and slightly tart with a refined, earthy drydown
Grape Vine Fragrance Oil is a structured green-woody composition built around a balanced aromatic matrix that ensures clarity and controlled diffusion. The leafy character is developed through fresh green and floral materials, while subtle fruity facets are introduced using salicylates and esters to create a natural grape-like nuance without overt sweetness. A woody-musky backbone provides depth and stability, allowing the fragrance to evolve into a dry, refined finish with a distinctly natural and grounded character.

Discoloration potential: Light
The presence of oxidation-prone components (especially salicylates, terpenes like Limonene and Linalool) in Grape Vine suggests a small visible risk of yellowing over time, though stabilized by the large stable carrier phase.
- Minor yellowing could appear after several months, especially if exposed to air, light, or heat.
- Safer for candles and room sprays; in cold process soaps, minor discoloration risk (yellow to tan shift) is slightly higher.
- Proper packaging and antioxidant stabilization would help.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

At first, I didn’t really like this scent, but now it’s not so fresh, I might like it even more later

Like the smell, not very popular for my car air fresheners though.
Melanie Cerncic (verified owner) –
Smells like grapes fresh from their vine. A hint of an earthy note is included. Customer said that the scent is sadly not that strong when burned. Used 10% in candles.
