Indigo Signal Perfume Oil
Indigo Signal Perfume Oil is a smooth aromatic blend that opens with bright lemon and bergamot before deepening into star anise, olive blossom, and guaiac wood. The base settles into warm leather, sweet tonka bean, and a touch of tobacco, creating a refined masculine depth. Perfect for crafting elegant candles, sophisticated diffusers, or modern body care blends with a suave evening character.

Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated perfume oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 15%-20%

These percentages are indicative. For specific usage limits, please refer to the Indigo Signal Perfume Oil IFRA file included in the “Related Documents” tab.
*Discoloration potential: Heavy
Indigo Signal Perfume Oil contains numerous oxidation-prone and discoloration-inducing ingredients, including alpha-Hexylcinnamaldehyde, Coumarin, Hydroxycitronellal, Helional, and Acetyl Cedrene (Vertofix). These compounds are known to cause ambering or browning in cosmetic and candle formulations, especially in light or heat-exposed environments. The presence of citrus oils (e.g., lemon, lime) and resinoids like Bulnesia sarmienti extract further increase discoloration risk
- Discoloration toward amber or brown is very likely over time.
- Best suited for rustic, woody, or dark-themed products where warm discoloration aligns with the fragrance concept.
- Not suitable for white, pastel, or transparent applications where visual clarity is important.
- To reduce discoloration, store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment and consider antioxidant stabilizers if applicable.
Important considerations
We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.
Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
Scent Perception Disclaimer
While we do our best to accurately describe each fragrance, please note that scent perceptions are subjective and can differ. We cannot be held responsible for any misconceptions regarding the scent description. Always ensure you’re satisfied with the fragrance in a smaller test order before committing to larger volumes.
