Discoloration Potential: Light
Unrivaled Perfume Oil includes some sensitive materials like limonene, linalool and citral which can contribute to slow yellowing. However, no high-risk resinoids, sweet aldehydes, or phenolic components are present. The base is relatively stable and discoloration risk is fairly moderate and slow. SDS confirms: “The product may discolor due to prolonged storage.”
- Slight yellowing or warmth may appear over extended storage.
- Generally suitable for most colored applications including soft tones and translucent bases.
- Use caution in crystal-clear or white products if absolute color stability is critical.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
