Scent profile: Gourmand/Musky/Ambery
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated perfume oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Moderate, supported by Iso E Super and Galaxolide.
- Texture: Creamy, sweet, musky, and powdery.
- Opening Impression: Soft vanilla-floral with jasmine-like sweetness.
- Structure: Vanilla-sugar core over musk, amber, and tonka facets.
- Character: Gourmand, rounded, comforting, and smooth.
Vanilla Supreme Perfume Oil is built around a concentrated vanillic gourmand structure where Vanillin, Ethyl Vanillin, Ethyl Maltol, and Maltol create the main vanilla, brown sugar, and caramelized sweetness. Galaxolide smooths the base with a clean musky softness, while Iso E Super adds a subtle amber-woody frame. Coumarin reinforces the tonka facet, giving the drydown a powdery warmth beneath the creamy vanilla body. Ethyl Linalool and Linalyl Acetate add a restrained floral-aromatic lift that keeps the profile polished. The result is a rich vanilla gourmand with brown sugar warmth, soft musky diffusion, and a smooth amber-tonka drydown.

Discoloration potential: Heavy
Vanilla Supreme Perfume Oil has a high concentration of vanillin and ethyl vanillin, along with coumarin and maltol derivatives. These materials are well-known for their tendency to oxidize and turn dark amber or brown over time, especially in high-pH or heat-exposed environments. The oil is already dark amber color by itself.
- Discoloration toward deep amber or brown is very likely during storage or use.
- Best used in gourmand, dessert-themed, or warm-toned products where darkening can be an aesthetic match.
- Avoid for white, pastel, or transparent bases (e.g. clear soaps, gels, or creams) unless colorants are used to offset the browning.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.
