Star Dust Perfume Oil contains multiple components known for yellowing and slow ambering, such as coumarin, piperonal, vanillin, methyl anthranilate Schiff base, geraniol, and geranyl acetate. While its base includes stable fixatives like Iso E Super and Cashmeran, the risk of gradual discoloration remains due to the floral aldehydes and aromatic sensitizers present.
- Light ambering may develop over time, particularly in light-colored or clear bases.
- Best suited for warm-toned or creamy-colored products that can absorb mild shifts in tone.
- Avoid in pure white or crystal-clear formulas unless minor yellowing is acceptable.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
