Lavender Garden Fragrance Oil
Lavender Garden Fragrance Oil is a smooth lavender blend with a floral/green profile like a walk in a botanical garden. The fragrance introduces a light aldehydic top accord of bergamot, lavandin and rosemary before opening to a creamy heart of lavender, violet and lily of the valley. The base is supported by patchouli, tonka and musk.
- Top notes: Bergamot, lavandin, rosemary
- Heart notes: Lavender, muguet, violet
- Base notes: Patchouli, tonka, musk
Scent Profile: Herbaceous/Fougere/Floral
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Discoloration Potential: Light
While free of vanillin or caramelic notes, Lavender Garden Fragrance Oil contains several aldehydic and terpene-based components that may cause slow yellowing or ambering, especially in soap or light wax.
- Expect soft yellowing or warm tone development in white or clear applications over time.
- Best suited for lavender-themed or neutral-colored bases where mild tone shifts are acceptable.
- Not ideal for transparent or bright white applications if long-term brightness is critical.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

I’m not getting the rosemary or the violets. But it’s very pleasant. The Lavender scent is pleasant and not overpowering.

I don’t think I will ever become a fan of this particular lavender, mainly because of the musky/powdery base notes, but from a professional standpoint, the composition is well constructed.
