Rose Spice and Olibanum Fragrance Oil is a mystical and sophisticated symphony of all the rich and profound aromas of the orient. An intoxicating bouquet of rose, neroli and jasmine makes an undeniable introduction, letting a warm woody/spicy accord of cinnamon, clove and oak bark to unfold in the middle, before immersing into a sumptuous base of frankincense, musk, benzoin and patchouli. A mastefully crafted oriental fragrance that creates a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

Formula update 17/11/2025: Slightly enhanced the rose on the heart accord due to upcoming IFRA changes. Minor adjustment, but as always, it is recommended that you purchase a small sample to test the scent.

This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.

Recommended usage guidelines

• Candles: 7%-12%
• Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
• Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
• Soaps: 1%-3%

*Discoloration potential: Heavy

Rose Spice and Olibanum Fragrance Oil includes a significant concentration of cinnamaldehyde, along with vanillin, coumarin, cedryl acetate, and clove oil (eugenol). These materials are well-known for causing deep amber or brown discoloration, particularly in white or clear bases. The dark red initial color also contributes to noticeable staining or shift.

• Discoloration toward amber or brown is very likely over time.
• Ideal for rustic, warm, or spiced-themed products where darkening enhances the mood.
• Not recommended for white, pastel, or transparent applications unless darkening is intended.
• Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to delay oxidation and preserve clarity.

Important considerations

We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.

Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
