Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These percentages are indicative. For specific usage limits, please refer to the Tuscan Herbs Fragrance Oil IFRA file included in the “Related Documents” tab.
*Discoloration potential: Moderate
Strong presence of oxidation-prone terpenes, phenolics, and aldehydes. While no single dominant offender is present, the combination of multiple medium-risk components can deepen the tone significantly over time.
- Expect a visible yellowing or amber shift, especially in light-colored bases or exposed applications (clear soaps, wax melts).
- Less noticeable in already warm or earthy-toned products (e.g. olive green, terracotta, rustic browns).
- If your product’s aesthetic relies on a pale or pure white tone, this oil might darken it noticeably over time.
- Store tightly sealed, away from light and heat to reduce oxidation and extend shelf life.
Important considerations
We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.
Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
Scent Perception Disclaimer
While we do our best to accurately describe each fragrance, please note that scent perceptions are subjective and can differ. We cannot be held responsible for any misconceptions regarding the scent description. Always ensure you’re satisfied with the fragrance in a smaller test order before committing to larger volumes.
