Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Strong, led by Alpha-Hexylcinnamaldehyde, Iso E Super, and Vertofix.
- Texture: Dry, leathery, spicy, and resinous.
- Opening Impression: Grapefruit-spice over dark woods.
- Structure: Leather accord over patchouli, cedar, vetiver, balsam, and musks.
- Character: Masculine, bold, earthy, and persistent
Moroccan Leather Fragrance Oil is built around a dry spicy-leather structure where Alpha-Hexylcinnamaldehyde, Iso E Super, Vertofix, cedarwood materials, Gurjun oil, Patchouli, Nagarmotha, and vetiver create the main dark woody body. Citrus-grapefruit, pepper, cardamom, and coumarinic facets add lift and warmth without softening the rugged base too much. The result is a bold woody leather with spicy aromatic lift, earthy resinous depth, and a dry smoky cedar-vetiver finish.

*Discoloration potential: Heavy*
Moroccan Leather Fragrance Oil contains multiple oxidation-prone resins, essential oils, and aromatic aldehydes. Already brown at baseline, so further darkening in formulations is expected.
- High likelihood of further darkening over time — especially in soap or wax applications.
- Best used in dark, earthy, or neutral-toned products (e.g. brown, gray, black, or deep green) where any additional deepening blends with the visual identity.
- Strongly discouraged in white or pastel products unless discoloration is masked or embraced as part of the concept.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%

I just fell in love with it! Excellent quality, warm, leathery, more unisex-manly, bold and strong. I tested it in wax melts with 10%, absolutely amazing. Probably I will go with 8% in the next round and I will test it on parasoy candles. Definitely buying it again!
