Chamomile Tea Fragrance oil
Chamomile Tea Fragrance oil is a bright herbal fusion of one of the most fragrant wildflowers with rustic green undertones of basil, rosemary and lily of the valley. A subtle base of honey and tonka further softens the mixture making it remarkably calming for the senses. Simple and straight-forward blend, carefully created to preserve the intergrity of true chamomile scent. An all-seasons delicate fragrance made especially with soap-makers in mind, but it can also be a lovely addition to any spa-like candle collection.
Scent Profile: Herbaceous/Floral/Sweet
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin.
All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
Recommended usage guidelines
Candles: 7%-12%
Reed diffusers: 20%-30%
Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
Soaps: 1%-3%
For specific usage limits, please refer to the Chamomile Tea Fragrance Oil IFRA file included in the “Related Documents” tab.
*Discoloration potential: Moderate
While the base is very stable, the multiple oxidation-prone terpenes, esters, and coumarin content create clear risk of yellowing to browning over time with exposure to air, light, or heat.
- Yellowing is likely over time, especially in open containers or when exposed to light/heat.
- Cold process soaps may show noticeable tan or light brown discoloration.
- Candles and diffuser oils should remain acceptable for months but will deepen slightly in color with time.
Important considerations
We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions.
Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product.
The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.
Regulatory compliance
All SDS and CLP certifications are prepared by a professional CLP labeling company, reviewed annually for accuracy. Always handle fragrances in accordance with these documents and check for the latest version when reordering.
EU Regulation on UFI Declaration
As of January 1, 2025, EU regulations require the inclusion of the fragrance Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) on the labeling of all scented products sold within the EU. Rest assured, all of our fragrance oils come with an SDS (Safety Data Sheet) file that includes this UFI number.
Testing for Compatibility
Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
Scent Perception Disclaimer
While we do our best to accurately describe each fragrance, please note that scent perceptions are subjective and can differ. We cannot be held responsible for any misconceptions regarding the scent description. Always ensure you’re satisfied with the fragrance in a smaller test order before committing to larger volumes.
Order processing times

Reminiscent of a cup of tea. Lovely for the autumn season. A fresh and herbal scent that’s great for candles.
