This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Medium, soft and evenly diffused
- Texture: Smooth, slightly creamy with a gentle musky-powdery base
- Opening Impression: Bright, fruity-led with a soft green floral lift
- Structure: Balanced with a moderate carrier phase and rounded transitions
- Character: Cheerful, polished, and easy-going with a soft, lingering finish
Hydrangea Garden Fragrance Oil is a balanced fruity-floral composition built around a carrier-supported structure that emphasizes smoothness and cohesion. The floral heart is constructed through a blend of classic aromatic materials, creating a soft and familiar garden-like character, while green and fruity facets introduce brightness and lift. A fixative-rich base provides body and longevity, allowing the composition to evolve gently without sharp transitions. The result is a polished and approachable fragrance with a soft, floral presence and a clean, lasting finish.

Discoloration Potential: Moderate
Despite having a very stable carrier backbone, the moderate level of oxidation-prone aldehydes and terpenes in Hydrangea Garden Fragrance Oil suggests visible yellowing to mild browning may occur over time, especially under air, heat, or light exposure.
- Yellowing over time is likely, more pronounced in soaps and clear waxes.
- Candles and diffusers will tolerate minor color shifts better, especially if slightly tinted.
- Antioxidants and airtight, dark storage will help delay color changes.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

A nice floral scent from the bottle but in CP soap lacked staying power. Works great in other products, though.
