Ocean Mist fragrance oil is a sprightly scent evoking the sensation of being showered by droplets of splashing ocean tide! The fragrance opens with a lively citrucy and slightly minty combo of bergamot and pine, passing on to an even more vivacious green/floral heart of neroli, hyacinth and lily of the valley, mingled and balanced perfectly with a woody/powdery base of cedarwood and white musk.

Discoloration potential: Moderate
Ocean Mist Fragrance Oil is heavily built on benzyl benzoate (50–70%), along with benzyl salicylate, dihydromyrcenol, linalool derivatives, and multiple terpenes and aldehydes. While it lacks strong browning agents like vanillin or cinnamaldehyde, the high load of benzyl esters and terpene materials can oxidize and gradually shift color.
- Gradual yellowing or slight green-to-amber shift may occur over time.
- Generally acceptable for most applications, but not ideal for crystal-clear or pure white bases.
- Oxidation risk increases with air exposure due to high benzyl benzoate content.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
