Salt and Driftwood Fragrance Oil
Salt and Driftwood Fragrance Oil is a sunny coastal blend that combines the salty essence of the splashing waves with warm woody notes, evoking a brisk walk along the sea shore at sunrise. The entire top part of the fragrance is based on a crisp and fresh citrus symphony white in the heart we find a luxurious floral/woody accord of dried figs, jasmine and driftwood. The wood nature of the blend is further accentuated with cedarwood on the base along with white musk and amber.
- Top notes: Bergamot, lemon, mandarine, grapefruit
- Heart notes: Fig, jasmine, driftwood
- Base notes: Cedarwood, musk, amber
Scent profile: Citrus/Woody/Marine
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Discoloration Potential: Light
Although vanillin is absent, Salt and Driftwood Fragrance Oil includes several aldehydes, terpenes, and natural oils known to slowly yellow or amber, particularly in soap and white waxes.
- Gradual yellowing is possible, especially in white or transparent applications over time.
- Suitable for coastal, marine, or wood-themed products where a slightly deeper hue won’t affect the visual appeal.
- Less ideal for ultra-clear gels or stark-white designs if long-term brightness is a priority.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

Salty yet woody at the same time. Reminds you of the beach, but with a woody base. The fruity notes make a perfect round up.
