Oud and Roses Fragrance Oil
Oud and Roses Fragrance Oil is a refined blend of dark woods and luminous florals in a smooth, modern composition. Fresh citrus and a touch of black pepper lift the opening, leading into a pure oriental heart of saffron, rose, raspberry, and violet that feels both elegant and slightly indulgent. The base unfolds into creamy vanilla, soft oud, patchouli, and musk, creating depth without heaviness. Sophisticated and well-balanced, it is ideal for candles, diffusers, and high-end fragrance creations.

Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.

- Opening Impression: Bright, citrus-led with a soft spicy accent
- Structure: Well-balanced with a diffusive backbone and layered heart

Oud and Roses Fragrance Oil is a well structured floriental composition built around a modern diffusive backbone that enhances radiance and clarity. The rose accord is constructed through a combination of classic floral materials and fresh aromatic components, resulting in a luminous and well-defined floral heart. Subtle fruity nuances add dimension without introducing sweetness, while a layered woody base recreates the oud character in a smooth and contemporary manner. The result is an elegant fragrance with a premium feel and a persistent finish.

Discoloration Potential: Heavy
Oud and Roses Fragrance Oil contains multiple strong discoloration drivers including ethyl vanillin, coumarin, patchouli oil, cedarwood oil, gurjun oil, and methyl iso eugenol, along with fixatives like Iso E Super, Fixolid, and Timberol. The combination of sweet balsamic notes, phenolic materials, and natural resins significantly increases oxidation and polymerization, leading to deep ambering.
- Discoloration toward deep amber or brown is very likely over time.
- Ideal for oriental, oud, floral-resinous, or luxury dark-themed products where color deepening enhances the character.
- Not suitable for white, pastel, or transparent bases where color stability is critical.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to slow oxidation and color shift.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
