Rock Rose and Amber Fragrance Oil is a rich floriental fragrance that mesmerizes the senses! Experience the magnificent aroma of labdanum (a.k.a. rock rose) in an exquisite pairing with warm tonka and patchouli. Few fragrance notes can match the depth and complexity of this centuries known resin, and its unmistakable earthy, powdery and balsamic character.

Discoloration potential: Heavy
Rock Rose and Amber Fragrance Oil contains multiple yellowing-prone aldehydes, phenolics, and aromatic alcohols. With Ethyl vanillin and coumarin present, significant discoloration is very likely in soap and candle applications.
- Expect noticeable ambering or browning over time, especially in clear or white soaps, waxes, and cosmetic bases.
- Best suited for amber-themed, rustic, or warm-toned products where discoloration aligns with the aesthetic.
- Should be avoided in products where long-term color clarity or whiteness is critical unless discoloration is masked.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers, away from heat and light, but discoloration is expected due to the formula’s structure.

Bulk orders are produced in multipliers of 5 (5kg, 10kg, 15kg, etc.) and lead times vary depending on fragrance and time of the year, usually within the range of 3 to 8 weeks.

Sadly causes very strong accelleration in cold process soap which makes it unsuitable for this method (plus discolours to a light brown).
