Discoloration Potential: Light
Despite a rich aromatic composition and several yellowing agents, the absence of vanillin in Amber and Ginger Lily Fragrance Oil keeps it from reaching a heavier risk tier. Discoloration will likely be light and slow.
- A soft yellowing or warm amber tint may emerge over time, especially in soaps and uncolored wax.
- Works well in neutral, amber, or floral product lines where tone deepening is acceptable or desirable.
- Less suitable for ultra white or clear bases unless discoloration is masked or stabilized.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
