Delicate jasmine and muguet open into a velvety heart of ylang ylang, orchid, and heliotrope, giving the scent its rich, cosmetic-powder character. The fragrance settles into a cashmere-soft base of creamy sandalwood, amber, vanilla, and sensual musk, while exceptionally high IFRA limits make this versatile scent perfect for virtually all home and personal care applications.

Discoloration Potential: Moderate
Poudre de Soie Fragrance Oil contains several oxidation-prone musky and powdery materials including Fixolid, Boisambrene Forte, Coumarin, Methyl Ionone, Isoeugenol, and traces of Patchouli oil. While the formula lacks heavy vanillin or cinnamaldehyde content, the dense musky-amber base and powdery ionone structure can gradually deepen in tone over time.
- Gradual yellowing or soft powdery ambering may occur over time.
- Generally suitable for nude, beige, blush, cream, or softly tinted applications.
- May not be ideal for ultra-white or crystal-clear bases where perfect color stability is required.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
