Smoked Leather and Myrrh Fragrance Oil is a mystifying, dark and sensuous scent that exudes the opulence of oriental grandeur. The fragrance features a sophisticated, almost ritualistic accord of saffron and laurel leaves at the top notes, smoky incense, myrrh and opoponax in the heart notes, and a luxurious leathery base enhanced with amber and musk.

Candles: 7%-12%

Reed diffusers: 20%-30%

Personal perfumes: 10%-15%

*Discoloration potential: Moderate

While the base is highly stable, the initial color of the oil is brown due to the presence of natural resins (Olibanum). Methanoazulenes, and terpenes introduce a minor but definite risk of gradual brown deepening over time, especially with air or light exposure.

• Color shift over time is possible, especially in clear soaps or unpigmented candles.
• Discoloration would likely manifest as deepening of brown tones, not drastic or ugly — may even suit the theme.
• Best stored in a cool, dark, airtight environment to preserve initial tone.

Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product.

EU Regulation on UFI Declaration

As of January 1, 2025, EU regulations require the inclusion of the fragrance Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) on the labeling of all scented products sold within the EU. Rest assured, all of our fragrance oils come with an SDS (Safety Data Sheet) file that includes this UFI number.

Testing for Compatibility

Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.
