Discoloration Potential: Heavy
Cotton Candy’s formula contains several powerful discoloration drivers at substantial levels, including ethyl vanillin and ethyl maltol at above 2.5% and up to 10% each, together with vanillin, coumarin and benzyl benzoate. Alpha-hexylcinnamaldehyde and lemon oil add further oxidation potential, increasing the likelihood of progressive ambering and browning.
- Discoloration toward deep amber or brown is highly likely over time.
- Best suited for gourmand, autumnal, rustic, or naturally tinted products where browning complements the aesthetic.
- Not recommended for white, pastel, or transparent bases where color stability is critical.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
