Essential oils are mono-aromatic natural products, meaning each oil is derived from a single plant source and carries one distinct aroma. Unlike fragrance oils which are blends of synthetic and natural components, these oils are 100% botanical extracts. Because these oils are raw, highly concentrated, and very potent, they must be used with caution. Always perform a small test or patch test when using a new oil or blending essential oils together to ensure safety in your creative projects.
