Discoloration potential: Light
While starting with a colorless base, the presence of terpene derivatives and aldehydes in Cucumber and Melon Fragrance Oil could cause slow yellowing or warming over time. Discoloration will be more visible in transparent or white applications.
- Over time, the fragrance may shift from clear to a pale yellow, especially when exposed to light, heat, or air.
- Works well in pastel or tinted bases that can absorb some shift, but caution advised for crystal-clear or bright white products.
- Store away from light and oxygen to prolong clarity, especially for gel soaps or transparent waxes.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
