Arabian Oud Fragrance Oil
Arabian Oud Fragrance Oil is an intimate woody oriental accord with top notes of ginger and cumin, guilded with warm sandalwood, agarwood and jasmine, on a base of leather, cedarwood and rock rose. A contemporary fragrance oil paying respect to old oriental rituals.
- Top notes: Cumin, ginger
- Heart notes: Oud, sandalwood, jasmine
- Base notes: Leather, cedarwood, labdanum
Scent Profile: Woody/Spicy/Leathery
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Medium–high, warm and enveloping
- Texture: Dry woods with smoky leathery warmth
- Opening Impression: Sharp cumin, ginger spice, and cool aromatic woods
- Structure: Spiced aromatic opening descending into dark resinous woods
- Character: Exotic, meditative and deeply sensual
Arabian Oud Fragrance Oil balances dry oriental woods with aromatic spices and smoky resins in a modern interpretation of classic oud rituals. Ginger, cumin, and fresh terpene materials create a vivid opening before sandalwood, oud accords, cedarwood, leather, and labdanum deepen the composition into a warm resinous drydown supported by woody ambers, Linalool, Cineole, and soft floral traces. The result is a refined woody oriental with elegant smokiness, smooth diffusion, and a distinctly contemporary Middle Eastern character.

Discoloration Potential: Light
Despite the presence of several oxidation-sensitive terpenes and alcohols in Arabian Oud Fragrance Oil, their balanced proportions and supporting fixative elements predict only slow and moderate yellowing over time.
- Gradual yellowing or soft ambering may occur with long-term storage, particularly under air, light, or heat exposure, but no sudden or dramatic darkening is expected.
- Very well suited for warm-toned products (beige, gold, amber, soft brown bases) where a slight deepening fits naturally into the fragrance theme.
- Airtight, cool, dark storage is advised to preserve maximum visual freshness.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

I recently purchased the Arabian Oud fragrance oil, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The scent is truly luxurious – deep, rich, and wonderfully exotic, just like a stroll through a traditional Middle Eastern market. It fills the room with an elegant warmth that lasts for hours without being overpowering.
The oil itself is of excellent quality – a few drops are enough to create a beautiful, lingering aroma whether used in a diffuser, on potpourri, or even added to candles. I appreciate that it smells authentic, not artificial or overly sweet like some other oud-inspired products I’ve tried before.
If you love sophisticated, slightly smoky scents with a touch of mystery, Arabian Oud is a must-have. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to bring a touch of luxury and atmosphere into their home.

I was expecting so much more from this after reading the reviews.
It is indeed a luxurious scent, but for me it’s weak at 10% FO/wax
Tom –
It is somehow salty and not as deep and oudy as i expected it to be. Still a nice woody scent.
Tom –
Not extremely oudy to my nose, but definitely woody and dark. A bit salty to my nose.
