Oud Incense Fragrance Oil is a rich woody scent encapsulating the sophisticated aroma of oud with its seductive balsamic allure in all its oriental glory. The fragrance opens with subtle spicy notes of clove and cumin, leading to an oriental/smoky heart of agarwood, sandalwood, leather and patcouli before resting on a smooth resinous base of vanilla, amber and styrax.

Please note

This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.

Recommended usage guidelines

• Candles: 7%-12%
• Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
• Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
• Soaps: 1%-3%

Oud Incense Fragrance Oil contains a rich composition of ethyl vanillin, cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl alcohol, benzyl salicylate, and multiple resins and essential oils such as patchouli, cedarwood, clove oil, and guaiac wood oil. These materials are highly prone to oxidation and polymerization, leading to strong ambering or browning.

• Discoloration toward deep amber or dark brown is very likely over time.
• Ideal for incense, oud, oriental, or smoky product concepts where darkening enhances the aesthetic.
• Not suitable for white, pastel, or transparent bases where color stability is critical.
• Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to slow oxidation and color deepening.

Important considerations

We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.

Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.

Order processing times

Standard lead time is 1-3 business days. Processing times may be longer during peak holiday seasons—please plan accordingly.

Bulk orders

For larger quantities, we offer bulk production starting from 5kg per fragrance code, with a 10% discount per kilogram. Customers who need more than 5kgs per scent, can contact us to arrange a proforma invoice. Bulk orders are produced in multipliers of 5 (5kg, 10kg, 15kg, etc.) and lead times vary depending on fragrance and time of the year, usually within the range of 3 to 8 weeks.
