Buttercrunch Toffee is a rich, buttery scent that captures the irresistible aroma of golden caramelized sugar. It opens with a touch of toasted almond, melted butter, and brown sugar, giving a slightly crisp, nutty sweetness. The heart melts into warm milk and deep caramel, while the base lingers with smooth tonka, creamy vanilla, and a hint of musk. Low in allergens, and CLP-safe, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Formula update 26/03/2025: Updated formula in line with new EU regulatory guidelines – Read about the upcoming changes here. Removed almost entirely the roasted-heavy top notes (coffee), resulting in a smoother caramel scent. We strongly recommend testing a small size or sample to confirm suitability for your products.

This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.

Recommended usage guidelines

• Candles: 7%-12%
• Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
• Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
• Soaps: 1%-3%

*Discoloration potential: Heavy

Buttercrunch Toffee Fragrance Oil contains strong discoloration-driving materials such as ethyl vanillin, ethyl maltol, anisaldehyde, coumarin, and piperonal. These sweet, aldehydic, and caramelic components are highly prone to oxidation and polymerization, leading to deep amber or brown coloration over time.

• Discoloration toward deep amber or brown is very likely over time.
• Perfect for gourmand, bakery, or dessert-themed products where darkening enhances realism.
• Not suitable for white, pastel, or transparent bases where color stability is critical.
• Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to slow oxidation and color deepening.

Important considerations

We strongly recommend conducting your own tests, as performance may vary depending on the materials used and manufacturing conditions. Fragrance oils may not smell the same in their raw form as they do in a finished product. The recommended ratios serve as a general guide and should never replace your own testing. Ensuring compatibility and safe usage of your final product is your sole responsibility.

Prior to incorporating our fragrances in your products always test a small batch to ensure compatibility with the other ingredients in your formulation. We strongly recommend purchasing a test bottle (10g) prior to committing to a larger volume. We cannot take responsibility for large orders made without prior testing.

Order processing times

Standard lead time is 1-3 business days. Processing times may be longer during peak holiday seasons—please plan accordingly.

Bulk orders

For larger quantities, we offer bulk production starting from 5kg per fragrance code, with a 10% discount per kilogram. Customers who need more than 5kgs per scent, can contact us to arrange a proforma invoice. Bulk orders are produced in multipliers of 5 (5kg, 10kg, 15kg, etc.) and lead times vary depending on fragrance and time of the year, usually within the range of 3 to 8 weeks.
