Ghost Ember Perfume Oil
Ghost Ember Perfume Oil is a modern aromatic blend that opens with crisp apple and bright lemon, delivering an immediate fresh clarity. The heart introduces lavender wrapped in subtle incense, adding a smooth herbal accent but with a slightly smoky edge. A grounded base of patchouli, vetiver, and vanilla anchors the composition with warmth and earthiness.

This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated perfume oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Discoloration potential: Heavy
Ghost Ember Perfume Oil contains multiple aldehydic, resinous, and oxidation-prone materials. The presence of these aromatic aldehydes, along with ionones, sweet balsamic notes, and natural essential oils significantly increases the likelihood of ambering and browning over time. The SDS also describes the product as colourless to pale yellow, which indicates a base that can readily deepen in tone with oxidation and light exposure.
- Discoloration toward amber, golden brown, or deeper resinous tones is very likely over time.
- Well suited for smoky, woody, oriental, or dark-themed products where warmth enhances the concept.
- Not recommended for white, pastel, or transparent bases where visual clarity is important.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
