Key Lime and Peppermint Fragrance Oil contains a high citrus-terpene load (Limonene, Citral, Pinene) which combined with oxidation-prone mint-related ketones suggest visible yellowing risk over time, especially if exposed to light, air, or heat. The high benzyl benzoate content moderates but does not fully eliminate this risk.
- Noticeable yellowing expected after several months, especially in products exposed to oxygen, heat, or light.
- More protected in fully sealed packaging or in lower-air-exposure applications (like in diffusers).
- Candles and soaps could see a visible color change over time.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
