Orange Flower Fragrance Oil is a sunny floriental accord where bergamot, mandarine and basil open the fragrance, which then quickly transcend to a blooming orange flower-based chypre consisting of jasmine, rose and cyclamen. The base is made of a delicate fresh-green blend of amber, musk and lemon verbena.

Orange Flower Fragrance Oil blends sparkling citrus freshness with a clean floral-chypre structure centered around luminous orange blossom nuances. Bergamot, mandarin, and basil create an energetic aromatic opening before jasmine, rose, cyclamen, and neroli-style materials soften the fragrance into an airy floral heart driven by high levels of Linalool, Linalyl Acetate, and Geranyl Acetate. Fresh musks, verbena, and subtle amber woods keep the composition bright, smooth, and elegant throughout the drydown. Discoloration Potential: Light
Despite the presence of oxidation-prone terpenes in Orange Flower Fragrance Oil, the high proportion of stable esters (like linalyl acetate) helps buffer rapid discoloration. Expect gradual yellowing rather than heavy ambering.
- Slow yellowing over time is expected, especially under exposure to heat, light, or air, but major darkening is unlikely.
- Perfect for delicate pastel-toned designs (creamy whites, soft corals, light oranges) where slight aging will feel natural.
- Store in cool, dark conditions, tightly sealed, to retain brightness for longer.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.

I am not an expert on Orange Flower, so I will just give my impressions of this specific scent: light, spa / bath, clean, not too sweet, a bit sparkly, and I would say delicately “soapy” in a fine-milled expensive hotel-soap way. I would absolutely keep it mind for inclusion in clean scents (or just used alone!), but it could be used in many floral blends. The not overly sweet aspect is particularly of interest to me, as it might tone down some too-cloying combinations.

I grew up in orange groves, and had high hopes for this fragrance. Unfortunately it does not smell accurate to me at all, and has a bit of a masculine edge to it. I am disappointed it is not what I wanted, but it is still a nice choice.
