Discoloration potential: Heavy
Peach Blossom and Patchouli Fragrance Oil contains multiple aldehydic and caramelic components like ethyl vanillin, vanillin, coumarin, and ethyl maltol, all of which are proven to cause noticeable yellowing or browning.
- Expect a clear shift from yellow to amber or brown over time, particularly in light-colored soaps, waxes, or clear bases.
- Best suited for beige, peach, or rustic floral applications where color changes can be masked or embraced.
- Avoid in products requiring long-term color stability or crystal clarity.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store tightly sealed in a cool, dark space, but note that discoloration is intrinsic to the formula’s aromatic profile.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%

This is very strong scent that can be used at lower rates. For me it´s fruity and sweet. I put 3 stars because it does not behave well in CP soapmaking: Brings stong acceleration, there is separation of liquids as soon as soap is poured into the mold, although it was reabsorbed in a few days. Discoloration to strong beige. No ricing.

Very unique scent. Sweet peach and earthy patchouli mix well!

I was expecting it to be more floral, but it smells almost the same as White Peach. Still, it’s a nice fruity scent.

Lovely and strong fragrance. Sweet fruits and vanilla, a little note of flowers, a powdery base.
