Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Behavioral Profile
- Diffusion: Medium–high, fresh and expansive
- Texture: Crisp, slightly dewy with a smooth floral-musky body
- Opening Impression: Bright, green-led with airy floral lift
- Structure: Top–heart driven with a well-supported diffusive base
- Character: Clean, uplifting, and radiant with a soft, lingering freshness
Spring Prairie Fragrance Oil is a top–heart driven green floral composition built around a diffusive aromatic matrix that emphasizes clarity and lift. The floral body is constructed through classic muguet and jasmine materials, enhanced by green aldehydic facets that create a fresh and dewy character. Modern airy notes introduce transparency and brightness, while a soft woody-musky base provides balance and persistence. The result is a clean, radiant fragrance with a natural spring-like freshness and a smooth, uplifting evolution.

Discoloration Potential: Moderate
Spring Prairie Fragrance Oil contains multiple oxidation-prone aldehydes and terpenes which mean that noticeable yellowing and slight browning could occur over time with exposure to heat, light, or air.
- Yellowing is expected after long storage, especially in open containers or under light exposure.
- Candles and diffuser bases may show slight color shift over time.
- Cold process soaps may see enhanced discoloration, particularly if the fragrance isn’t fully protected by antioxidants.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

This is such a nice and fresh scent. Like the fresh cut grass after rain on mornings in spring. Works well with melts and candles too.

I must say that I was expecting a slightly more floral scent. I would describe the fragrance as hay-smelling: with green notes of freshly cut flower stems intertwined with dried grass, resting on an herbal base of verbena and rosemary. Works well in CP Soapmaking: No aceleration. Discolors to light beige. No separation. No ricing.

it is good, but not the best fresh fragrance for me.

Love this scent. Very floral although somehow smells like zoflora.

Not my favorite one, because I prefer sweeter scents. But it is very fresh and earthy. Smells like a fresh cut grass or a field after a rain.
