Sea Minerals Fragrance Oil
Sea Minerals Fragrance Oil is a breezy aquatic blend inspired by windswept coasts and salty rocks. It opens with bright bergamot and a cool splash of peppermint and pineapple, softens into a watery heart of violet and sea-drenched florals, and dries down to smooth birchwood and mossy undertones. A standout scent for fresh, oceanic-inspired products, perfect for soaps, diffusers, and spa-style candles.
- Top notes: Bergamot, pineapple, peppermint
- Heart notes: Waterlily, violet, salt
- Base notes: Birchwood, oakwood
Scent profile: Citrus/Floral/Woody
Please note
This is not a perfume. It is a highly concentrated fragrance oil designed for crafting end products such as candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, and other personal care items. Do not apply directly to the skin. All our fragrance oils are measured in grams, not milliliters. Bottle fill levels may vary due to differences in oil density, which affects volume.
This material is supplied as a raw ingredient. Full compositional and allergen information is provided in the SDS and Allergen Declaration documents found in the “Related Documents” tab. Compliance of the final product remains the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Packaging note: 10g testers are supplied in PET bottles for affordable evaluation and are not intended for long-term archival storage. Production sizes from 50g upwards are supplied in premium aluminium bottles for improved long-term protection. Read more

Discoloration Potential: Light
The absence of vanillin and coumarin in Sea Minerals Fragrance Oil keeps the risk low, but the blend still includes several oxidizing materials (linalool, salicylates, aldehydes) that can cause gradual yellowing in light-toned products.
- A subtle yellow or warm tint may develop over time, especially in white wax, soaps, or clear emulsions.
- Ideal for oceanic, breezy, or marine-toned designs where slight ambering doesn’t clash.
- Caution advised in ultra-clear or pure-white bases if visual brightness must be preserved long-term.
Application Compatibility
This fragrance is oil-soluble and designed for use in oil-based and alcohol-based formulations. It does not mix directly with water-based systems without the use of an appropriate solubilizer.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark, and airtight environment to preserve stability and minimize oxidation over time.
Usage & Performance
Fragrance performance varies depending on the base, formulation, and production conditions. Cold throw, hot throw, diffusion strength, and longevity are influenced by the materials used and the manufacturing process.
A typical development process involves:
- Initial scent evaluation (10g sample)
- Small batch testing (e.g. 50g scale)
- Full-scale production once performance is validated
Testing under your specific conditions is standard practice in product development. Evaluation at each stage is required prior to scaling.
Recommended usage guidelines
- Candles: 7%-12%
- Reed diffusers: 15%-25%
- Personal perfumes: 10%-15%
- Soaps: 1%-3%
These ranges reflect typical formulation practices and are provided for general guidance only. They do not represent maximum permitted levels.

How to Read the Suitability Statements
✓ Suitable: the permitted concentration reaches or exceeds the average typical-use range. △ Limited: the permitted concentration falls within the typical-use range but remains below its midpoint. × Below Range: the permitted concentration falls below the typical-use range. × Not Permitted: the applicable limit is 0%.
Please Note
Typical-use ranges are general formulation benchmarks, not product-specific recommendations. Suitability is determined by comparing the stated typical-use range with the maximum permitted concentration shown in the current supplier IFRA document.
This guide does not confirm scent performance, base compatibility, stability, device compatibility or complete finished-product compliance. Appropriate testing and all applicable safety, labelling and regulatory requirements remain the responsibility of the finished-product manufacturer.
*Electric diffusers: Up to 100% fragrance may be used only in equipment designed for undiluted fragrance oil. Dilution, carrier and compatibility requirements vary by device. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.

A light and fresh marine fragrance. It reminds me of the smell of salt lakes. I will be adding to my fragrance line.
Melanie Cerncic (verified owner) –
Not that kind of a typical fresh marine scent. For me it is very manly, still a perfect blend for those who want it clean, fresh and salty.

Don’t expect a deodorant like blue scent. It is realistic and sea salty instead. I absoluety fell in love with the scent. I use it in hobby perfumery, so i always combine it with many other notes.
Daniela Szatmari (verified owner) –
A fresh, salty fragrance that really reminds me of walking by the sea or along a salty lake. Clean and airy, with that slightly mineral, coastal smell rather than anything sweet or perfumey.
