Cedramber is one of those materials that gives a formula structure immediately. It is dry, woody, ambered, and slightly ambergris-like, with a polished cedar impression that feels more modern and diffusive than natural cedarwood alone. It can make woody bases feel longer-lasting, cleaner, more elegant, and more finished. Used carefully, it supports a composition without taking over; used heavily, it can create a very direct dry woody-amber signature.

Stability & Handling
Cedramber should be stored tightly sealed in its original container, at a maximum of 25°C, away from prolonged exposure to light, heat, and air. It is supplied as a colourless to pale yellow liquid, so no pre-warming or pre-dilution is normally required before use. The SDS states that the material is stable under normal storage conditions and gives a 12-month shelf life according to storage conditions. Its discoloration potential is considered low to moderate: the material is pale, but woody-amber materials can gradually shift in colour or odour with heat, oxidation, and long storage. Testing is recommended in white waxes, clear bases, pale soaps, and pastel formulations.
